The proper recycling of old, broken down or unwanted vehicles is important to the environment. Auto recycling saves millions of barrels of oil, countless tons of steel, copper, aluminum and plastics. These are precious resources that we all need to recycle instead of putting into landfills. With the donation of an unwanted vehicle to charity, we not only save the environment but also save the lives or quality of life for many individuals. Charitable organizations make the world a better place by sustaining those in need.
